Put the Deep Freeze on Your Fat

Fat can be more stubborn than your mother-in-law. Sometimes, no matter how much exercise you do, no matter how severely you change your diet, the fat just stays. Kind of like said in-law at Thanksgiving!

But now Dr. Lalla can put the deep freeze on that fat for you with CoolSculpting.
CoolSculpting is a procedure that gets rid of stubborn fat effectively and safely without surgery. It is the only procedure cleared by the FDA that utilizes controlled cooling to eliminate fat that is resistant to diet and exercise.

What is CoolSculpting?
The theory behind CoolSculpting came from two Harvard scientists who observed that some children got dimples from eating popsicles. They assumed that the fat cells in the cheeks were dying from the cold temperatures, creating the leaner, dimpled cheeks. The same concept applies to CoolSculpting, which uses controlled cooling (Cryolipolysis) to target and kill fat cells. Fat cells freeze at higher temperatures than surrounding non-fat tissue. So, by precisely targeting the fat cells with the correct temperature, they are frozen and die. Over the next few weeks the dead fat cells are eliminated naturally by the body.

What is a session like?

In a CoolSculpting session, the device is positioned over the target fat pockets. The machine draws up the tissue in the area between two cooling panels. The sensation is one of firm pulling and a brief feeling of cold.
The procedure is simple — you can read, listen to music, check email, even take a nap during your session. CoolSculpting is totally non-invasive, so you can return to your normal routine immediately.
The results will be as pleasing as you’ve imagined. Over the next few weeks to months after your CoolSculpting procedure, your body will naturally eliminate the dead fat cells, and once they are gone these cells are gone for good. CoolSculpting results are permanent.
